Blaze has a great team, which is growing all the time and is even busier than ever before.  There is a broad range of experience across the team from Assistants to Stylists to Style Directors and Creative Masters.  Each member is highly qualified and dedicated to achieving excellence.

Dominick Flynn

Dominick is the co-founder of Blaze.  He never stops striving to keep Blaze at the top.  To achieve this he has developed an intensive in-house training programme to keep his stylists and staff abreast if not ahead of the latest techniques in hairdressing by teaching and encouraging his styling team to be at their best.  He invites other top hairstylists from throughout the country to come and work with him and the team on a regular basis.

Lee

Lee discovered Blaze 7 years ago as the place where he wanted to be.  Dominick was impressed with Lee's professionalism and attitude the minute they met.  While still working as a freelance hairstylist in another town, Lee dedicated his days off to work with Dominick and to perfect his craft.  Lee has taken many courses during his time at Blaze, which has led him to showcase his work at the annual Salon International in London, Germany and more recently in New York.  He is a key member of Blaze and as the manager in the salon he is heavily involved with the training and development of the rest of the team encouraging them to learn more and push their creative minds on his design nights.

Rachel

We are happy to say Rachel has been with Blaze for 13 years, and as well as being an excellent stylist she is a proud mother of a lovely daughter!  She is currently working 4 days a week in the salon and assists greatly with the guidance of the younger team members.  Rachel is a qualified NVQ Assessor and helps Dominick with the on-going training programme in the salon.

Esther Moesching

Esther is our intern from Switzerland for the next 6 months.  She has completed 3 years training to achieve her European hairdressing qualifications in Switzerland.  Esther will spend the next 6 months on our intensive training programme and attend the local college to improve her English language.  She is always willing and open to achieve more.  Furthermore she is also fluent in the Swiss German language which adds another dimension to Blaze.

Manju

Manju trained originally in Sri Lanka and the Maldives and more recently in Hong Kong, London & Birmingham where he was a senior stylist.  Highly trained in all aspects of cutting and colouring, Manju brings a wealth of experience to Blaze.

Lucy

Lucy has been working at Blaze for 2 years, after re-training at Blaze she has developed her skills in all aspects of hairdressing.  She has an artistic flair which shows through in her work, personality and her dress sense.  With a true passion for hairdressing we predict she will go far.

Joshua

Having lived in Costa Rica for many years, Joshua realised upon returning to the UK that Blaze was the only place to be to gain the necessary qualifications for his hairdressing career.  He has spent the last 3 years becoming a competent colour technician at Blaze and has excelled in his cutting training.  He is now fully qualified and is becoming a much sought after stylist in the salon.  Fluent in Spanish and always ready to help you, Joshua is an asset to the team.

Courtney

Having just finished her NVQ 2 in hairdressing in record time at the local Warwickshire College, (where she was student of the year for the 2nd year running), Courtney knows what she wants and doesn't let anything stand in her way of becoming a sylist!  After finishing a fast-track course with Blaze we are proud to say Courtney is now a stylist!  Ambitious, creative and brimming with enthusiasm, Courtney has a growing clientele in the salon.

Laurel

Laurel is our Top Stylist at Blaze and certainly deserves to be.  She is an experienced stylist who loves all aspects of hairdressing - especially colouring.  Laurel is bursting with fresh ideas and enthusiasm, she has lots of innovative techniques when it comes to choosing the right style for you.  Laurel is currently working with the Blaze Art Team on new photographic ideas for this seasons hair trends....see their work on the Blaze walls and latest advertizing campaigns.

Salvina

Salvina has just completed her NVQ 2/3 in hairdressing at the local college and is working as a colour technician at Blaze whilst she brushes up on her cutting work. With a huge passion for hairdressing and her Italian style apparent in her work, Salvina ensures everyones day is a good one!  Salvina's cheerfull "can-do" attitude ensures she is always on hand to assist everyone in delivering a high standard of client satisfaction.  She is a busy technician and enjoys all aspects of hairdressing.

Lisa

Lisa completed her basic training in Birmingham and has joined Blaze as a full time senior colour technician in November 2008 and is attending advanced cutting sessions with Dominick.  With her creative flair and enthusiasm for all aspects of hairdressing she fits into the Blaze team with ease.  Lisa is a highly trained colour technician at Blaze.  Lisa is always willing to help her fellow team members and helps co-ordinate the younger Saturday staff with Emily.

Emily

Emily is a colour technician at Blaze and she assists with the smooth running of the rest of the team at Blaze whilst she completes her cutting training.  Emily has already completed her level 2 in hairdressing, but she is lacking salon experience and has come to Blaze to improve her skills and get the extra tuition she needs.  Emily trains every Tuesday and Wednesday in the salon with Dominick and Lee and is currently working on her NVQ level 3.

Maria

Maria is well organised, talented and has a huge talent and passion for her craft.  Maria is at the salon for the next month on an intense hairdressing training programme from Germany and we are very lucky to have her working with us.  Fluent in German and English Maria is at the salon full time during her stay!

Nicole

Nicole is our girl Thursday and Saturday in the salon....and we could not do without her!  Her attention to detail and organisation of the salon's manic laundry system through to her soothing shampoo makes her a one in a million in our book!  Service with a smile and she makes a lovely cuppa....Nicole is always willing to help everyone...we love her!  If anyone does cloning - can we have 5 more Nicole's please?!

Liam

When Liam grows up shes wants to be a superstar hairstylist at Blaze! By working on a hectic Saturday hes on the right path to success!  With his big smile and eagerness Liam will make sure you are looked after in the salon at all times.  Liam works his little socks off at the weekends for us and we are forever thankful!

Natalie Flynn

Part of the reception team and general floor manager, she has a post graduate in marketing and NEBOSH qualification and has been at Blaze for 9 years.  Responsible for marketing, organising photographic shoots, training days and much more, Natalie helps to make Blaze the success it is by co-ordinating all team members every day.

Jackie Flynn

As a co-founder of Blaze, Jackie will not compromise on standards.  She is constantly pushing to reach high levels of customer service in all areas of the salon.

Saturday Staff

We are fortunate enough to have Saturday staff in the salon all year round.  They are a HUGE help when they are in the salon and we couldn't manage a Saturday without them!

Work Experience
